It enhances athletic, social, and leadership skills. One of the best ancillary benefits of club volleyball is making new friends from new schools and new places. Since players regularly officiate matches when they are not playing, leadership skills and knowledge of the game is also enhanced.
Badminton has loads of benefits; while it is fast at an elite level, it can be played slower than most other racket sports, making it a great sport for children, beginners, those with disabilities, older people and those with lower level of fitness. You can play at any level and speed you like making it super adaptable – and you will improve and get better and quicker without even noticing! You can play with friends and family, or attend an open session and meet and play with new people – at Freedom Leisure we offer Badminton England’s much-loved ‘No Strings’ sessions, which are great for both beginners and those who have played before, and benefit from a coach to help people learn the rules and improve.
It is an arts & crafts activity, where you 'paint' a template picture with coloured sand. Template pictures have sticky layers underneath and once the top film is peeled, you can sprinkle coloured sand, which sticks straight to the exposed sticky layer. So no messy glue is needed. We offer A4 size cards to make the activity easier for little hands.
A robotics club is a gathering of students who are interested in learning about and working with robots. At school, robotics clubs typically take place after school, in a classroom, and are moderated by a member of the teaching staff or school administration. At robotics competitions, teams of students must design and build a robot that can compete against opponents in a series of specific challenges.
