AS/A Levels are offered by two major exam organizations, Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and Pearson Edexcel. AS (Advanced Subsidiary) is usually studied in the first half of the course and A Levels (Advanced Level) in the second half. These courses provide a wide choice of subjects and in-depth study of selected areas of study.
Every year, thousands of students around the world get into top universities thanks to Cambridge International AS & A Levels. The syllabuses develop a deep understanding of subjects and independent thinking skills. Students usually study AS/A Levels between the ages of 17 and 18.
Cambridge International A Level is a two-year course, while Cambridge International AS Level is one year. Our school offers both AS and A Level programs.
Examinations are held twice a year, in June and November, with results issued in August and January.
Each subject that a learner takes receives a separate grade.
Grades are benchmarked using internationally recognised grades, which have clear guidelines to explain the standards of achievement.
The Cambridge International A Level is reported on a grade scale from A* (highest) to E (minimum required performance). There is no A* grade for Cambridge International AS Levels, which run from grade A to E.
